Globe Union's manufacturing process is vertically integrated and allows us a high degree of quality control and speed to market. We process from raw material to final product while ensuring the same high level of quality over every step in the process. Our fully automated Japanese and German molding equipment operate continuously. We use state of the art molding technology to give us excellent quality control at competitive costs.

  

Globe Union operates a modern foundry with both sand and gravity brass casting processes, brass forging, and high-volume zinc diecast operations. We maintain our competitive edge with computer driven high-technology automated equipment. Globe Union’s extensive tooling shops design and manufacture tooling for production equipment.

  

Mechanical processing is carried out on CNC automated machinery, capable of manufacturing products meeting shape, dimension and specifications on short notice. Polished goods are subjected to inspection throughout the entire process to ensure that only flawless, zero-defect products are sent to electroplating. Globe Union’s extensive electroplating processes assure first quality plated products that meet or exceed durability and other requirements of ASTM B4565C2. Globe Union’s capabilities include PVD titanium electroplating technology (First developed by the U.S. space program by NASA.) PVD finishes are characterized with a super-hard, scratch-resistant permanent finish that resists corrosion and deterioration under the most demanding service conditions. This technology is particularly appropriate for decorative faucet products that see many years of demanding service under a wide variety of hostile conditions.

  

At Globe Union, quality assurance inspection is part of every step in the manufacturing process. Our goal is zero-defect production. Globe Union plants comply to ISO 9001 procedures and standards from start to finish. Our professionalism, testing procedures and highly accurate equipment have been recognized by world-class certification authorities. We operate the only Asian plumbing products test facility to receive Canada's CSA category certification as well as category certification by IAPMO in the United States.
